Consumer driven community for packaging development

Together with researchers at Mid Sweden University a consumer driven “community” for packaging improvement is under development. New packaging functions and designs are developed in order to increase quality, value for money, attractiveness and safety along the life cycle of packaging.

Easy to handle – universal design

Packages which are easy to handle are developed together with industrial designers at Mid Sweden University. The Swedish television channel, TV4 has made a broadcast about this activity, which you can watch at www.midswedenmedia.com/packaging.wmv.

Customised packaging design

Variable data printing is an interesting area, which is under development. Opportunities with digital packaging printing are investigated in collaboration with the Digital Printing Center in Örnsköldsvik.
